ARE YOUR MEALS HEALTHY?
Our focus is on making homemade, from-scratch, REAL food. This very often translates into a healthier meal for you, because when food is made from scratch, and then quickly frozen, there is no need for added preservatives, binders, and chemicals. That said, we all love dessert and treats too, so they'll make an appearance on the menu as well. But rest assured that they'll still be from scratch, like our homemade Brown Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookies!

For those with allergen concerns, we also make every effort to include Gluten Free and Dairy Free options whenever possible. All meals are labeled with an Allergen Notice in the description.
HOW SHOULD I THAW MY MEAL?
Ideally, we recommend a gradual thaw in the refrigerator, starting about 24 hours before serving. But if you're crunched for time, simply use the defrost setting (or reduced power) on your microwave. NOTE: Some meals will come packaged in a foil baking pan. These meals are not suitable for microwave thawing.
DO MEALS COME COOKED OR RAW?
It depends!
Some meals, such as our Tomato Basil Bisque, are cooked and then quickly frozen to ensure food safety. They are ready to thaw, reheat and enjoy!

Foods such as breakfast cookies, Oatmeal Energy Bites, and marinades will simply need to thaw before use.

Finally, some products (like slow cooker soups, or pasta bakes like our Baked Tuscan Tortellini) are assembled and then quickly frozen prior to cooking. You will complete the cooking process at home. This gives you the best flavors possible!

Don't worry, each item will be clearly labeled with instructions for use!
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE SERVING SIZES?
Our serving sizes are based on generally accepted nutrition recommendations.

Here are a few examples.
1 serving of vegetables = 1 cup
1 serving of hummus = 1-2 Tablespoons
1 serving of rice = 1/2 cup, cooked
1 serving of ice cream = 1/2 cup

Further examples...
A 1/2 pint (=1 cup/8 oz.) tub of hummus would contain 8-16 servings.
A pint (2 cups) of ice cream would contain 4 servings
WHERE'S THE BEEF?
We've purposely left out all meats from our recipes in order to avoid any protein-related food safety concerns, and to keep things customizable to individual tastes. Of course, we will always suggest additions of shredded chicken, ground beef, and other meat options where appropriate.
WHERE ARE SUPPERTIME SOLUTIONS MEALS MADE?
We cook all of our meals and meal solutions in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the State or Local Health Department.Â
All products are NOT FOR RESALE.
We adhere to the current Cottage Food Rules for North Dakota.
